1 · Class & metric

engine build · 15 Oct 2026, 10:25AM

Pick a class, then choose which test to view. Bronco keeps its full MAS/ASR/session-board engine; CMJ and IMTP show Term 2 → Term 3 retest values with a progression cue. Each class's edits save separately per metric. Updated the Excel workbook? Use "Load latest Excel file" below to pull the new numbers straight in — no need to come back and ask for a rebuild.

3 · Squad Bronco times

Enter Term 3 retest times as they come in (Week 8 retest window) — the delta shows seconds faster, and bands/MAS switch to the retest time automatically once it's entered. Times accepted as m:ss or m.ss.

4 · Sprint tiers → ASR

No max-speed testing needed. Tag each athlete Fast / Average / Slow in the roster above (coach's eye is enough) and set your normative sprint speeds below — Anaerobic Speed Reserve (ASR) is calculated as tier speed minus that athlete's own MAS. Defaults here are placeholder estimates for a Y11 school squad (well below elite U20 RL norms) — replace with your own GPS/timing-gate top-speed data as soon as you have it. An ASR of ⚠ 0.00 means the tagged tier speed is at or below that athlete's own MAS — check the tier tag before prescribing ASR work off it.

5 · Session parameters

Choose whether this session is prescribed off %MAS (aerobic/tempo work) or %ASR (short supramaximal/speed work). COD cost defaults to 0.7s per change of direction. Surface caps the longest unbroken run — if the prescribed distance won't fit, the board auto-adds shuttle turns on top of whatever COD you set below.

What the bands mean

Band	Bronco	CMJ	IMTP
Elite	under 4:40	45 cm +	42 N/kg +
Strong	under 5:00	36 cm +	36 N/kg +
On track	under 5:30	30 cm +	31 N/kg +
Developing	under 6:00	25 cm +	28 N/kg +
Priority	6:00 and over	under 25 cm	under 28 N/kg

One standard for Year 9, 10 and 11 — a band means the same thing whoever earns it. Set from Westlake's own 310-athlete distribution; Elite pinned to external benchmarks (IMTP Strong of 36 N/kg sits just under the senior-professional mean of 37.4 reported by Badby et al., 2025). Your progress is measured against your own last result — the band is where you stand against the standard.

Top 5 —

Overall ranking — Term 3 complete only

Combines Bronco, CMJ and IMTP into one score — the average of each test's squad-relative percentile within their own class. Only athletes with a recorded Term 3 result for all three tests are eligible (a Term 2 fallback doesn't count here, unlike elsewhere in the tool) — everyone else shows a dash until they've completed the full set. That's deliberate: it's meant to nudge full retesting, not rank on partial data.
